Disclaimer: I intentionally didn't choose more than one song per artist for this list. This was due to the fact so much good r&b came out this year, I wanted to highlight most of it.
As he's managed to do successfully three times in years prior, Ne-Yo dropped another very solid album this past year. However, the standout to me on the album was in fact none of the singles he chose to release, but the bedroom joint "Telekinesis."
