Disclaimer: I intentionally didn't choose more than one song per artist for this list. This was due to the fact so much good r&b came out this year, I wanted to highlight most of it.
2010 brought Marques Houston's 5th solo album (11th overall) and in my opinion it saw him take a step back in terms of content. I've been one of Marques' biggest supporters, and songs like "Waterfall" are the pure type of r&b where I feel he really shines.
