From what I know about this song, Tank wrote it and originally intended it to be on his "Sex, Love, & Pain" album, but later on ended up selling it to Marques Houston for use on his own album. In fact, if you listen closely to the Marques Houston version of the song, you can hear Tank even singing backup. In the end, this song never made either artists album, as Marques Houston decided for whatever reason not to include this on his 2007 album "Veteran." However, on Tank's "Sex, Love & Pain" album, he has a version of this song called "I Love Them Girls" (Timbaland Remix) which is more uptempo and we can assume he included it as an alternative to this version. Both artists did a nice job with this, I can't really decide which I like better. Which do you prefer?

I am going to have to go w/ MH on this one. although as a singer he tends to be boring, MH brings it on this version of "Strip Club love" making it his own. I too dont understand why he never officially released it.
ReplyDeleteLCSS, I have to agree, I was leaning slightly towards that one anyway. Plus he added in that really good bridge part which is absent from the Tank version.
