As you may have read, I wasn't a big fan of Robin Thicke's latest album "Sex Therapy" and gave it a pretty harsh review (Click Here to Read). Although I've been a big supporter of him in the past despite his shortcomings as an artist, I just felt like he was moving far away from soul and more towards a pop/radio friendly sound. Now in many cases I don't have a problem with this, but when an artist is capable of producing timeless music like Thicke is, I don't agree with the decision. "Slow Down" is probably a leftover track from that album, and is exactly the type of sound I would have liked to hear more of on there.

New Joint: Robin Thicke "Slow Down"
