Sterling Simms was first heard in 2006 on the Jay-Z song "Dig a Hole" and eventually released his debut album "Yours, Mine, and the Truth" in 2008. Despite the Def Jam backing, the album was a total failure sales wise, grossing less than 2,500. On songs like "Doesn't Matter," it seems his voice is fading into the background of the beat, and I'd like to hear more power from his voice.
